AS Roma coach Luis Enrique said he was far from satisfied after his men hauled themselves back into the hunt for a Champions League place by beating Genoa 1-0 at home.

Italy forward Pablo Daniel Osvaldo ended a three-month goal drought with a superb early strike on Monday to put sixth-placed Roma within four points of city rivals Lazio in third, which is good for a slot in the Champions League preliminaries next term.

But the Spanish coach was unhappy with the way his side played and said a draw would have been a fairer result.

"If we want to achieve certain objectives we'll have to improve a lot," said former Spain, Real Madrid and Barcelona midfielder Luis Enrique.

"We were under a lot of pressure and we were imprecise.

"The result is good for our confidence, but I don't like winning like this. We've improved a lot since the start of the season, but consistency is what counts and the table says that we are sixth at the moment.

"That's what we deserve, no more, although there are 10 games to go and we should be confident. We may be higher up at the end".
