62 migrants arrive in Sicily All in good condition

Italian police apprehended 62 immigrants off the coast of Sicily Friday. The migrants, who were all reportedly in good condition, are believed to have come from nearby Tunisia.

On Monday 10 African migrants died after the boat in which they were trying to make the crossing from Libya to Italy got into trouble, survivors rescued by an Italian Navy ship said In 2011 some 50,000 migrants arrived in Italy after the Tunisian revolution and the Libyan war, while hundreds, or perhaps thousands, were lost at sea while making the crossing from North Africa.
